Josh Kelley - Just Say The Word
|
The third release from Kelley, Just Say The Word, has proven to be the best one yet.
The third release from Kelley has proven to be the best one yet. Pure and soft vocals, with sweet hooks make his single, “Just Say The Word”, a guaranteed hit among his fan base. Thanks to his younger brother Charles, who helped him write the majority of the lyrics on this album, he’s brought the soul back into contemporary blues rock. He’s just now starting to hit the mainstream although he certainly has a desire to fly under the radar. We’re looking forward to other releases this year and possible tour dates across North America. Stay tuned for more details.

Melissa Ferrick - In The Eyes Of Strangers |
Melissa Ferrick's newest studio release, In The Eyes Of Strangers, is considered to be her best work since 2000’s “Freedom”. Those songs that blew your mind when you heard them live on her last tour are now in an amazing studio recording that captures all of the energy of her guitar-drums-bass show with the clarity and permanence of her first album. Melissa Ferrick has the kind of relationship with her audience that few artists are blessed with. Her live performance is fierce and funny, outspoken and vulnerable, passionate and real. The emotional honesty of Ferrick’s first-person lyrics, the force of her vocal delivery and the disciplined fury of her musicianship connects her to her audience with confidence and grace.

Scissors For Lefty - Mama, Your Boys Will Find A Home |
A band out of left field and these guys are going places. Since the debut of their first album, Burno, they have continued to stun fans and impress industry leaders. Their newest album, Mama, Your Boys Will Find A Home, was well excepted by fans and contains just as much sprit, pride and ingenuity as everyone has come to expect.
Peter Krimmel (piano/vocals), Robby Garza (bass), Bryan Garza (vocals/guitar), and James Krimmel (drums) comprise the flirty indie rock band Scissors for Lefty. Part Brit-pop and part indie rock, and with a campy persona and dreamy lyrics to match, Scissors for Lefty are a great addition to the post-punk revival of the new millennium. They have played shows with the likes of Grandaddy, the Coral, Mary Timony, Pedro the Lion, and Diamond Nights. |
